West London Eid Festival. Come and celebrate Eid, and the diversity of West London as part of the London Borough of Hounslow Summer of Culture.
This Saturday, the first ever West London Eid Festival will take place in the idyllic surroundings of National Trust – Osterley Park from 11- 6:30pm
Organised by an all-female team including Saverah Events and Hounslow Muslim Women’s Association, the Festival promises food, clothing, and products from around the world as well as an exciting and unique range of activities to keep the kids entertained.
Within the festival, a number of zones will be present. These include a food zone, kid’s zone and much more, ensuring there is something for everyone. On the main stage, there will be inspirational speakers, interaction with audience, a Quran competition and many more surprises.
With a Muslim population of over 40,000, the festival is designed to provide a platform for the diverse Muslim population.
However, we would like to extend a warm invitation to people from every faith and background. There is so much misinformation in the media which is why the theme for the event is ‘Share, Educate, Inspire’.
We hope the festival will really bring together and strengthen the community in Hounslow.
Entry is free but registration is required. For further information visit West London Eid Festival
