“What’s Love Got To Do With It?” follows dating app addict Zoe who is yet to find Mr Right.
However, for Zoe’s childhood friend Kaz, dating is not a option, he is to have an arranged marriage in Pakistan just like his parents. Intrigued & curious Zoe join’s Kaz’s journey to Lahore to marry a stranger and realises she needs a different approach to find love.
The star-studded cast includes, Pakistani A-lister actress Sajal Aly and also Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhry, Mim Shaikh, Jeff Mirza, Iman Boujelouah, Mariam Haque and Sindhu Vee.
Three-time BRIT Award winner Joy Crookes, Award-winning and Mercury Prize nominated composer, Nitin Sawhney collaborated with renowned record producer, Naughty Boy to produce music for the film. The multitalented singer, songwriter and actress Preeya Kalidas was also involved in co-writing one of the songs. Indian singer, Kanika Kapoor and Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan feature on the soundtrack as well as starring in the film.
” What`s Love Got To Do With It ?” is directed by the veteran Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.
Written and produced by former President Imran Khans ex-wife Jemima Goldsmith.
